Losing weight can make you feel hungry,

but it is not really about food, the truth is that losing weight is a matter of mind! It is more than just a simple calorie count because health care professionals have long said that if you are overweight, it isn't because your body is too fat but rather because of how hungry you are and not in control of that hunger! You need to be mindful of what motivates you to eat, whether or not it's "bad" food cravings. Some people try to look for ways to lose weight with motivation or motivation and then some find comfort and hope by trying and failing.

There are many justifications for why somebody would need to get in shape. The list is endless and many people come up with different reasons for shedding the weight of which one is healthier than the other. But one size doesn't fit all so here we bring you our top ten tips for losing weight. These strategies are based on theories as well as medical studies that will help you get started. Some of these techniques might work for some while others work better for others. I know there are many healthy ways of losing weight and it’s important you know that just because something is healthy doesn’t mean that it’s good for everybody. Your physical fitness and emotional state of mind matter and you are responsible for making sure your own body responds accordingly. So don’t worry if you feel like your friend, a family member has tried everything and no one has. If anything, she/he should learn from them and use their mistakes and successes to guide them into achieving healthier lifestyles.

1. Stop Eating Too Much (Or at All)

This might be easier said than done but I promise you, if you have ever read Martha Stewart’s book “No Logo Diet: A New Way to Save Money, Feel Healthier, and Eat More Whole Foods Market products, you will get used to it and won’t even realize it. This is one of those things where you have to focus on self-awareness which helps to give you an understanding of your relationship with food. Most people go through eating habits that aren’t consistent and when they become an issue for themselves, that’s when you start noticing these patterns and stop doing them. Instead, think back to your childhood and your parents and remember they were taught by God. They spent most of their day not worrying about calories, but they would also say they liked cookies, crackers, and chips! That is what God wants you to do if he does something wonderful for us. And if you truly believe this is true, you won’t make yourself miserable by thinking so much about money-saving hacks or fads. Focus on your body and not your goals. If you don’t like the taste of whatever you are eating, then you don’t have to go out every week buying an entire pack of raisins. You can have one cookie and choose your favorite fruit or veggie and stick to that. Also don’t forget, you can enjoy each bite at least once. If you get frustrated over having a slice and just put another one in your mouth immediately after, then you deserve to quit. Don’t change your mindset; instead, put new behaviors into motion. Start small with yourself and add one piece at a time; try to avoid impulse food purchases. When that habit becomes too big for you to handle, then it is only a step away from quitting your job. If you find yourself bingeing and always reaching for sugar-packed snacks then maybe you’ve got a problem. The best way to lose weight quickly is to get rid of that junk food. Even though it sounds hard to lose weight, you must start small by simply removing it from your life. Try to eat five fruits and vegetables at a time; the bigger the plate, the harder it will be to reach it. Add these five fruits and vegetables to your daily routine, try to include them in meals or snacks, and try to incorporate these into your daily life. When you get started, keep going to the store and grab a handful of fresh herbs, garlic, carrots, or leeks and toss them in the salad with lemon. The next time you bite into a sweet treat don’t finish it completely and just throw half in your mouth. Make them part of your meal plan and remember your loved ones always told you to love the little things in life. No one loves to see you reaching for a soda fountain or bottle. Find a new way to express that positive feeling that comes along with eating healthy. Get creative and have fun. In America, we live in a fast-food culture, and oftentimes, that is what we think is unhealthy. Well, there is nothing wrong with eating fast food. Fast food is very tasty, healthy, and delicious! But don’t be fooled! Yes, the food may taste good, but we should never forget that the majority of American families today rely on fast food to provide meals for their children. Have you met people who say it is fun? How about friends whose kids call in sick in order to get a quick bite? Asking friends to go to McDonald's or Chipotle is enough reason to buy fries and hamburgers. Those places don’t care that people die a day before they eat their hamburgers. And don’t forget dessert is another way, you can eat sweets as well. Chocolate ice cream and blueberries are both ways to have some fun. Plus, let’s face it - we can eat pizza. Why? Because we love it. We love it enough to buy it in bulk at Crave, Big Lots, Petco, Papa Joe's, Chick Fil A, Cheeseball. What made me buy chicken breasts and add them to my dinner menu was a craving to lose weight. I thought that wasn’t my thing, but when I was able to try on dressings without guilt I realized that I could eat things I previously wouldn’t have wanted to but love them anyway. It was all about substituting things and not doing it all at the same time. Then I stopped worrying about the diet and started looking for food that is nutritious and satisfying, and also filling my stomach without being heavy. Now, my diet is about healthy foods, snacks, and drinks that are easy to cook, and I am not afraid to use ingredients that are healthier choices. But you must look for foods that you enjoy when you are feeling hungry because that will be something to hold onto when you run out of options. Food that you realize will satisfy you. Just as Jesus taught his followers to eat vegetables without getting upset when they were hungry,

so too should you when you are feeling hungry

For instance, you can eat something hot and cold, or hot and cold, or plain and raw, or spicy and cold, or sweeter and cold, but the point is to have foods that you love and that you can actually cook and enjoy. Look for nutrition labels on items to compare and the ingredients for the food you are purchasing, because food that is high in calories is never what you should be eating! Sometimes you feel like you are starving to death and desperately need a snack, but that isn’t necessarily true. There are always plenty of low-calorie snacks available that are delicious! Check out the website www.momentofhealth.org for tips and recommendations regarding calories, nutrients, and overall health. One thing that I learned early on in life is that you are what you eat. Whether you choose to eat healthily or not is up to YOU. Do what makes you feel good, but don’t buy into the myth that everyone needs a full tank of gas. If you are planning to get fit, you deserve it and there is no excuse for you to eat unhealthily. Not all foods are created equal, so take a good look at the nutritional content of the foods you purchase and figure out exactly what you need to get that extra energy from there. With diets, you must watch for the ingredient information, nutritional value, and calories. Don’t give yourself any excuses! Be careful of what you allow yourself to eat. Is this whole grains bread? Perhaps, yes! Are you getting tons of salt? Sure. Are these green beans? Uh-oh! Could you really take such a large amount of red meat from the deli? You betcha! If you can’t believe me, check it out. Studies are showing that people who are overweight typically consume more calories than those who are slim. Even obese individuals tend to make more poor dietary decisions by overspending. So remember to remember that you are not alone in this struggle. Myself has never been the type of girl who eats excessively, but when my boyfriend asked me to put a salad on the table to pick him up from school, I asked what I was eating and he laughed and asked if I had eaten, so of course, I explained that I didn’t eat that day. He then asked me “You need to eat that.” While he is right, I have always had a knack for picking out food and I have always been that person who would be shocked if she saw someone go to the grocery store and not buy anything that they didn’t like. She had her opinion that she needed this bad food to help her lose weight and when you get so far that you think that you have to go to supermarkets to find food that you can actually eat, then you have to wonder what else is happening in your life that is making you unhappy or stressed. Maybe it’s feeling guilty about what you’re eating? Remember why it is important to choose healthy foods every day. Research shows that people who choose to eat well usually eat less, and research has shown that the foods
